Made for small Brazilian producers

Growing mushrooms should be simpler, more visual, and connected.

CoguPlanner was born to help small producers, home growers, and people starting out in mushroom cultivation organize every step of production more effectively.

From the first shelf to the final sale, we want to turn technical knowledge, daily management routines, and connections with buyers into a clearer, more practical, and more accessible experience.

OUR MISSION

More knowledge, less waste, and more local production

Our mission is to increase access to mushroom cultivation knowledge, support those who are starting, and bring local producers and buyers closer together so fresh mushrooms reach customers faster.

We believe that a well-organized production helps the producer make better decisions, sell at the right time, and reduce losses caused by lack of planning, long transport, or market discard.

Increase knowledge

Turn technical information into simple, visual, practical guidance for daily cultivation.

Support beginners

Help newcomers understand phases, blocks, shelves, daily management, harvest, and basic care without relying on trial and error.

Connect production and local sales

Bring producers, restaurants, markets, chefs, and buyers from the same region closer to strengthen the sale of fresh mushrooms.

Reduce waste

Organize harvest forecasts, orders, and availability to avoid losses from overproduction, delays, or lack of a buyer at the right time.

THE PROBLEM

Cultivation still relies too much on manual tracking

Many producers start with a few blocks and can keep track of everything in their head. But as production grows, manual tracking starts to fail.

Dates get scattered across spreadsheets, photos, chat groups, notebooks, and reminders. Each block has a phase, a species, a harvest forecast, a management need, and its own history. Without a tool designed for this, the producer works more and sees less.

Moreover, mushrooms are fresh, time-sensitive products. When the harvest is not well planned or the right buyer is not nearby, the risk of unnecessary transport, quality loss, and discard increases.

Blocks without clear traceability
Forgotten harvest dates
Daily management scattered
Environment hard to track
Customers and orders disconnected from production
Fresh mushrooms lost for lack of a sale at the right time
WHY MUSHROOMS?

A crop with potential for food, income, and local production

Mushrooms can be grown in small spaces, at different scales, and with great potential for small productions. They combine food, science, careful management, and economic opportunity for local producers.

Even so, knowledge about cultivation is still not accessible to many people. CoguPlanner wants to help turn that knowledge into a practical, organized, and easy-to-follow routine.

Small-scale production

You can start small, learn with a few blocks, and grow as experience increases.

Fresh, local food

The shorter the distance between producer and buyer, the greater the chance of delivering a fresh, attractive mushroom with fewer losses.

Applied knowledge

Every management record, phase, and harvest helps the producer better understand their own production.

WHO IS BUILDING IT

A team of developers who also grow

CoguPlanner is being built by a team of developers who also maintain their own home mushroom productions.

The idea came from a real pain: we were tired of using generic spreadsheets, loose notes, and improvised tracking for blocks, phases, management, and harvests.

At the same time, we saw a lot of waste happening in the market because fresh mushrooms do not always find the right buyer at the right time. So CoguPlanner is not just an organization tool. It is an attempt to bring knowledge, production, and local sales closer together.

OUR VISION

Simple infrastructure for the small mushroom producer

We want CoguPlanner to become a place to learn, plan, track, sell, and connect. A platform where small producers can understand their production clearly and where buyers can find fresh mushrooms grown closer to home.

In the future, we envision a network where cultivation data, community, and technology help producers reduce losses, improve decisions, and strengthen local mushroom production in Brazil.

Less production lost. More knowledge shared. More fresh mushroom reaching the people who buy it.

IN DEVELOPMENT

Built with community support

CoguPlanner is still in development, and that is an important part of the project. The platform is being shaped with support from people who grow, study, buy, sell, or simply want to learn more about mushrooms.

Every suggestion, critique, question, and practical experience helps turn CoguPlanner into a more useful tool for the reality of those who produce in Brazil.

The community is not just following the project. It is helping decide what needs to be built first, which problems are most urgent, and how the tool should work day to day.

Producers

Bring the reality of management, harvest, losses, and sales.

Beginners

Show where knowledge is still confusing, too technical, or hard to apply.

Buyers

Help understand how to bring local demand and fresh production closer.

Community

Helps prioritize features, validate ideas, and keep the project connected to real problems.
